Jonathan in Thailand

Jonathan spent a week in Thailand. He supposedly went there on business; however, from the looks of these pictures, he seemed to have a lot of fun. The company that Jonathan works for has an office in Thailand. A few months ago he began managing the office from here. Next year I will be going!!

Family Unity is Essential in God's Work

" The great work of every man is...to create and perfect an
eternal family unit...Salvation is a family affair."
Bruce R. McConkie

I feel very blessed to know that families can be forever. I know that the Lord has prepared a way for families to be sealed together even after this life. This is the temple where Jonathan and I were married and sealed for time and all eternity. I am thankful for a good husband who strives to serve the Lord and his family. I am grateful for temples and the beauty and peace they bring to this earth.

Hogle Zoo

Yesterday we had a wonderful day together!! Some how I convinced Jonathan to take off work early to go the zoo. Since yesterday's weather was absolutely beautiful, I knew we just had to go. Parker and Jordan loved all the animals. They were excited about everything they saw.

I am really impressed with Hogle Zoo. They have a great variety of animals. We were so lucky to see many baby animals. The baby giraffe and baby elephant were by far the cutest things ever. We also saw a baby alligator, baby monkey, and tiger cubs.

Since my sister lives right by the zoo, she was able to come over with Gavin and Rylee. After the zoo we went to Souper Salad.(Not that great of food but Parker and Jordan loved it.) What a great day! I have an awesome family.

Not many things cuter than this elephant exist in this world.

Parker and Jordan love making snake sounds. This disgusting rattle snake was probably Jordan's favorite animal.

A Beautiful Autumn Day

After a few days of cold, wet weather, we happily welcomed warmer weather. We played outside with the neighbor boys, Max and Wesley.

They always want what the other one has. Even if they have the same thing. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side.

Notice that Parker's crib is backwards. Well, he has decided that he now can get out of his crib. So we turned it around. When he has a poopy diaper he goes to the back corner of the crib and won't let me get him out. Because their toys are right between there cribs we can hear them begin to play around 6:30am. Not fun!!

Parker is in a phase of life when he doesn't like to wear clothing, except new shoes. So most of the day is spent in a diaper unless we are going somewhere. (Thanks Stephanie for the cute flip flops. They fit perfectly right now. I hope they still fit next year.)

My favorite month--October

Last year I purchased Halloween shirts for the boys on clearance for only $1. I am so excited that they can wear them now.

And we are back.

We actually didn't go anywhere. I have just been the ultimate blog slacker. I would, however, like to recap on our summer. And I would like to be better at posting. Why? Because not only do family and friends want to see what we are up to but also I find myself enjoying being a mother more. When I am recording the cute and not so cute things that Parker and Jordan do, I find myself happier. And so I would like to be happier everyday!! So here we go.

AUGUST

In August we had our very first photo shot. You might actually see our pictures on a bus or billboard for Seven Peaks. The pictures were fun and we got to go to the water park for free.

We also had fun with Jonathan's family at his cousin's wedding---a fun weekend in Bear Lake and a fun weekend to celebrate Conner's mission farewell. August was full of fun and traveling.

JULY

For the 4th of July we went to my Aunt Connie's ranch in Colorado. We had so much fun in the wide open spaces. Almost all of my dad's side of the family was there. I just love spending time with my family! My sister Lachelle was even able to fly out from Ohio.

Later that month Parker, Jordan, and I spent a whole week up in Carey, Idaho with Grandma and Papi. We had a blast! Parker and Jordan couldn't get enough of the pigs and dirt. They played in the water as Papi flood-irrigated Grandma O's (Jonathan's grandma) yard. I am so grateful that we could spend such a wonderful week with Jonathan's family.

JUNE

In June we went up to Bear Lake to visit Jonathan's sister Amy and her family. My sister Lindsay and her family came to. We had 6 kids, ages 4 and under, in the same house. Chaos!! Unfortunately the weather didn't agree with us and I forgot warm clothing so Parker and Jordan had to wear their little cousin, Evelyn's, cloths. Parker didn't look to bad, but poor Jordan in his over-alls. We sure had fun.
