Jonathan's 28th Birthday

We celebrated Jonathan's birthday from a Tuesday to a Sunday. He milked every last minute of each day. On Tuesday we ate at Tucanos Brazilian Grill. Jonathan's favorite since he lived in Brazil for two years. Then he saw The Scarlet Pimpernel at the Hale Center Theater. We absolutely love going to musicals there.

On Sunday we ate a delicious turkey dinner with my parents and brother.

Notice the red mark on Jordan's face. Parker bit him.
On Friday, Jonathan's actual birthday, I surprised him at his work with a homemade cheesecake. Because we didn't want to make another cake that night we decided to eat at Magleby's Fresh. We had a two free dessert coupons from our musical. So we celebrated again at Magleby's.

This is the only picture taken on Jonathan's actual birthday. The boys wanted to get him "a blue surprise." So we got him some blue dress socks. Stayed tuned for the awesome suit he got for his birthday.

October's Fun Events

Halloween in Carey, Idaho
We decided to trick or treat with our cousins in Idaho. Parker and Jordan absolutely love visiting Grandma and Papi. Jordan was really grouchy for the first 30 minutes of the night but I was glad to see him cheer up and have fun. Below is Uncle Jake and baby Avery.
Jonathan's hometown has two gas stations. The picture below is taken in one of the gas stations. This is the best picture of their rice picker outfits.

Grandma helped the kids make Haunted Houses. Poor Jordan was asleep for this activity. Look at our beautiful niece Evelyn. She looks like a doll.
This is cool Uncle K.C. and Parker.
"Wow! This is fun!" --Parker

Pumpkin Patch with Mimi and Shobha

Parker looks so cute in this picture. Below, Parker and Jordan are helping Mimi pick out all the best pumpkins. Because we went two days before Halloween, we got to pick out as many pumpkins as we wanted for FREE!

Jonathan had a costume party at work. He is some character from a video game.

Pumpkin Carving with the Shettys

We are so blessed to have our wonderful neighbors. We are sad that this is their last Halloween in the States. What wonderful friends they have become over the last few years.
I found these masks in our Halloween bucket. The boys wore them all day for many days. Their animals got to wear them too. Jordan liked to cover his eyes but Parker always wore them on his head.

Our HALLOWEEN Party
Jonathan proposed to me on the 23rd of October in 2004. Every year since we have had a party. This was our first year to do a costume party. We had great food and tons of friends. However, Tashina, Stephanie, Elise, David & Mary, Leslie we really missed you all this year!! You are forever loved!
Katie and I have been friends since we lived in Provo. Doesn't she look awesome!
Jordan is below.
Parker.
Shobha and Riyaan and my mom, dad, and Preston in the back.

The food was great. Lots of treats and nachos.
Adam and Mikelle with their children had probably the best costumes! Adam in the pirate costume and Denise in the referee costume are two of my great friends and old co-workers. Thanks for coming!!

Let the crafts begin
I am really excited that they boys are old enough to do crafts. These pumpkins turned out adorable. Except they boys kept pulling the face off and then making me glue it back on. I went through numerous hot glue sticks over the course of a few weeks. Stay tuned for our cute turkeys for Thanksgiving.

Just a random cute picture before church. Jordan is on the left and Parker the right.

Fall Farm Fests
Because I love the autumn, I wanted to take the boys as many places as possible. The boys loved all the animals, corn mazes, and pumpkins this month. They even got to pet a kangaroo.

This is a GQ, serious pose.

BYU Football
The fall is not complete without a little football. I took Shobha and her son Rahul to a BYU game. They enjoyed it. Thankfully we won!!
Parker and his glasses that he insisted on wearing all the time, broken and upside down.
This is my new shelf. I love it and just had to include it with October's events.

Shout out to Auntie Leslie!!

And we're back for our monthly post

Don't these boys look so handsome. I bought the boys their first white collar shirts for church. Of course their first time wearing the shirts Jordan managed to fall off a piano bench, cut his head open, and get blood all over the shirt. Thankfully he didn't need stitches and surprisingly all the blood came out.
I made this blue tie.
I think these next three pictures are some of my all time favorites. Crazy hair after their bath.

Jonathan did awesome in his third triathlon sprint this summer. This one was held at Bear Lake. I was excited because the boys and I stayed the night with wonderful friends, Breena and Mitch. Thanks Beans!!
Parker and Papi.
The finish line!!

The transition area

I had the most amazing opportunity to go to Arizona with a good friend from college. Amy and I drove down for our friend Alisa's wedding. We were able to stay with another wonderful friend, Jesika. What a blessing that weekend was in my life. Amy and I got to talk for 22 hours in the car. And talk we did. And then to see our beautiful friend Alisa get sealed for time and all eternity in the Mesa Temple, was such a sweet experience. We had so much fun catching up with Jesika and meeting her two sweet children. Thanks Amy and Jesika!! And thanks Alisa for getting married so that I had an excuse to take a vacation!!
